On the auspicious day of the 66th birth anniversary of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo Jigme Singye Wangchuck, RAA released the Annual Audit Report 2020-21 for submission to His Majesty The King, Prime Minister and the Parliament in line with Article 25 (5) of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Bhutan and Section 111 of the Audit Act of Bhutan 2018. The Audited Annual Financial Statements of the Royal Government of Bhutan for the financial year 2020-21 is also released today along with the AG’s Advisory Series on Review of Government Procurement System.
The AAR 2020-21 will be tabled in the upcoming winter session of the Parliament, seven months ahead of statutory requirement, after which a press release and conference for the media will be convened.
The senior officials of Authority attended the releasing ceremony held in RAA Conference Hall.
