The Royal Audit Authority is pleased to release its second SAI Performance Report 2021 which assesses the performance of the RAA against the International Standards of Supreme Audit Institutions (ISSAIs) and INTOSAI good practices following the methodology prescribed by the SAIs Performance Measurement Framework (SAI-PMF) developed by the INTOSAI Working Group on the Value and Benefits of SAIs (WGVBS). The SAI-PMF is an important tool to help RAA improve its audit methodologies, internal governance and ethics, capacity development and engagement of stakeholders amongst many others.
This assessment carried out in 2019 was as part of the Strategic Planning Monitoring Reporting (SPMR) programme of INTOSAI Development Initiatives (IDI) and measures the current performance of the RAA across 6 domains as follows:
