The Royal Audit Authority held a Press Conference for the recently published Annual Audit Report (AAR) 2020 and two Performance Audit Reports. The Hon. Auditor General, Joint Auditor General, Deputy Auditors General, Assistant Auditors General and other relevant officials were present to respond to queries from the media. Nine representatives from various Bhutanese Media Houses attend the Press Conference.
The reports were submitted to the Druk Gyalpo, the Lyonchen and the Parliament in accordance with Article 25 (5) of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Bhutan and Chapter 6, Section 72 of the Audit Act of Bhutan 2018, and tabled in the Parliament on 21 June 2021 during the Joint Sitting of the 5th Session of 3rd Parliament.
