The Auditor General, Deputy Auditor General and Assistant Auditors General of the RAA attended the 3rd Joint Sitting during the fourth session of the Third Parliament on 11 December 2020.
The Public Accounts Committee presented its Review Report of the RAA’s Annual Audit Report 2019 and Review Reports of AARs 2010 to 2018 to the Joint Session. The Members of Parliament deliberated at length on the audit issues reported and recommendations provided. The Joint Sitting also endorsed all four recommendations from the AAR 2019.
The AAR 2019 was submitted to His Majesty The King, Prime Minister and Speaker of the National Assembly in accordance to the Constitution and Audit Act of Bhutan 2018.
