Coinciding with the auspicious day, the Hon. Auditor General awarded promotion orders and Tashi Khadhar to four new Assistant Auditors General (AAG) in a modest ceremony on 11 August 2021.
- Chime Dorji is the new AAG for the Office of the Assistant Auditor General (OAAG), Samdrup Jongkhar under the Department of Follow-Up & Regions (DFR). He was formerly the Officiating AAG, OAAG Bumthang.
- Tashi Lhamo is the new AAG for the Human Resource and International Relations Division (HRIRD) under the Directorate of Services (DoS), where she formerly served as the Officiating AAG.
- Bikram Gurung is the new AAG for the OAAG, Bumthang under DFR. He was formerly serving with the OAAG, Tsirang as Deputy Chief Auditor.
- Tenzin Chhoedup is the new AAG for the OAAG, Tsirang under DFR. He was formerly serving with the Compliance and Outsourced Audit Division (COAD) under the Department of Performance and Compliance Audit (DPCA) as Deputy Chief Auditor.
All four Assistant Auditors General were promoted after open competitive selection interview held on 23 July 2021.
