RAA conducted Audit Awareness programme virtually to more than 40 newly elected Gups who are stranded in Thimphu due to the lockdown. The Hon. Auditor General made presentation which covered Mandate, Origin, RAA’s Oversight Audit Model, Audit Process, Audit Jurisdiction, Fraud Triangle, Who Audits Audit and most Common Audit Findings in Gewog Audits.
The Programme was organized by the Department of Local Government as part of the orientation programme of the newly elected Gups of the 3rd Local Government.
Along with the Auditor General, Tashi Tobgay, DAG, DSA, Minjur Dorji, DAG, DFR, and Rinzin Lhamo, AAG, PPD attended the virtual programme on 31 January 2022.
