The Auditor General and senior management of the Royal Audit Authority welcomed 13 new recruits and two DSP-CPA trainees on 04 January 2023 at the RAA Conference Hall. The new recruits consist of eight Assistant Audit Officers with a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM), four Assistant Audit Officers and one Assistant Planning Officer who will undergo the RCSC’s Foundational In-service Training (FIT) for Finance Service and Administrative Service, respectively, at the Royal Institute of Management.
Upon joining the RAA, the new officers will undergo an intensive 8-week ‘Induction Program for New Recruits (IPNR) 2023’ spread over the next four months in two phases before assuming responsibilities in their respective divisions and regional offices. Phase-I of the IPNR 2023 will be conducted at the RAA Head Office and Phase-II at the RAA’s Professional Development Centre in Tsirang. Subsequently, the officers will undergo a mentorship program until December 2023.
Two trainees undertaking the CPA course through the DeSuung Skilling Program will also be attached with the RAA for the next three years.
